Immerse yourself in the fascinating history
of Psygnosis.

We publish books that delve into the history of video games, cult machines, forgotten software, underground demos and everything else that shaped the digital era from the 1980s to the present day.
In the Shadow of CPC
In the 1980s, one microcomputer left a lasting impression on an entire generation of gamers: the Amstrad CPC. With its bright colours, shrill music, legendary loading times and cult games, for many of us it was a gateway to video games, creativity and imagination.
A tribute book entirely devoted to Amstrad CPC games. Through a careful selection of iconic titles, this project traces the history, creativity and soul of a machine that had a profound impact on European video games.

Great looking T-Shirt although it's cut and fabric are on the cheaper end of the spectrum. Great memorabilia nonetheless

Great quality book with loads of photos from the Amiga demo/hacking scene. A nice little touch are the QR codes that give you direct access to the demo’s on Youtube. Fantastic customer service from Christophe who made sure my order was extremely well packed so that it arrived in pristine condition.

Just received the newest book from Edition64k and have to say it's top notch. The print quality is great, nice materials but the book design itself is also well thought out. Love seeing all these scene logos again 🙂

I hesitated to buy these books for a long time, but in the end I didn't regret it. I grew up with the Amiga and the demo scene was an important part of my youth (I'm almost 50 now). Reading the book and watching the corresponding demos on YouTube at the same time gave me a lot of great dejavu. The background information on the respective programmers, graphic designers and musicians is also very interesting, although there could have been a little more of it. I bought the first two parts together and am looking forward to the third part being released.

just amazing! so much digital art in one package! When I was leafing through the book and looking at the logos from my old Amiga days, I could sometimes hear the intro music to these artworks. 🙂
